Access to Historic Anacostia is easy! We are located on the Green line, get off at the Anacostia station exit. Covered parking is available at the Howard Road entrance. There are plenty of buses to take you downtown or take a stroll through the neighborhood. The DC Circulator makes stops in Historic Anacostia and there are several Capital Bikeshare stations as well as deckles bikes located throughout the neighborhood. You can also walk, bike, or drive over the new 11th Street local bridge! There are plenty of ways to get to and around Historic Anacostia. Plan your trip today!

Most of Anacostia’s businesses and attractions are located on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE and Good Hope Road SE. Free on street parking is available on Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave SE and Good Hope Rd SE (please note the Rush Hour Parking signs!).

A paid parking lot is available at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Ave SE and W Street SE. Zip Cars can be found on the 2000 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave.  A paid underground parking lot is located at 1800 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave SE, however parking is available only during weekdays.
